Much to my surprise, I received an e-mail in Feb 2014 from Delphi Glass that they wanted to showcase one of my pieces on the front page of their 2014 Summer Catalog.  It was also displayed on the Delphi website for several months.  The Rainbow Umbrella was a gift to my in-laws and is a family favorite.  Then in Aug 2014, I received an email from Delphi that they wanted to use Alyson's Circles in their 2014-2015 Annual Catalog.  Alyson's Circles was my second piece. We think the colors turned out great.  It is also featured in the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 Delphi Annual Catalogs along with an another favorite, the Southwestern 2-Panel Window.

My first project that got me hooked.

I started creating stained glass panels as a hobby after my youngest daughter quit club soccer.  It was the first time in years that I found time for a hobby.  I started in September 2011 by purchasing a beginning starter glass cutting kit from Delphi Glass (www.delphiglass.com) and by watching on-line videos. I'm still experimenting with different types of glass.  Selecting and combining colors is the greatest challenge and I owe my wife (Beth) for putting up with me and this hobby.  She is a great help in selecting glass and colors.  Each piece has many hours in it's construction.  I sold my first stained glass "Rainbow Landscape" and saw it give a great smile to a four-year old.  Nothing gets better than that.  I recently agreed to sell some of my pieces at the Ritzy Texan in Burnet, Texas.  You can check out their website at www.ritzytexan.com
